So, I heard you liek mudkipz most of you guys are into Gaming Computers and stuff, so I thought I'd make a topic before I vanish to the firey depths of Dark Souls.
Let's start off with a simple introduction, shall we?
PC Gaming - Introduction
PC Gaming is becoming a more popular thing these days, as people are getting tired of Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, and ALL of their bullcrap. Sure, the odd few console exclusives are good to play every now and again, but you truly can't beat the bigger exclusive side of PC Gaming - Indies and, well, WAY MORE PC EXCLUSIVE GAMES (e.g Garry's Mod, Arma 3)
Gaming PC's can range from the $450 cheap pricetag for up to stupidly high prices like $7,500.
Many questions are asked about PC Gaming. "Is it the same as console?" "Will I still be accepted?" "CAHN I RUHN BF4 UHLTRAH 60FPS ON MY BLAH BLAH WHATEVER NVIDIA" "What parts do I get?" "Build or Pre-built?"
I will try my hardest to answer many of these questions in this thread, as. I have built a few PC's before and know my way around them.
System Configurations:
Minecraft Spec PC - Runs lower end games well. show

Specs:
Intel Core i5 Processor model 4460
Zalman CNPS10X Optima (cooling, I'd recommend watercooling if you're on a high budget)
Windows 8.1/7 (doesn't matter)
Gigabyte Z87-HD3 (motherboard)
8GB DDR3 1333mhz (2x4GB ) (or 6GB if on tight budget)
1TB S-ATAIII 6.0Gb/s (I'd also get an SSD fitted for Windows. That is, if your budget is high)
NVidia GeForce 8800 GT (Graphics Card)
Zalman Z3 Case
500w Power Supply

Experiment and research into your builds!

Will post more tips, builds and recommendations later.

Not interested. If it has good games to play, then I'm in, but I will never give up console gaming.

I don't see what the big deal is about gaming PC's. I'm a PC gamer for life, but all I need is my laptop and wireless mouse. I don't understand why people spend over 500 dollars on the expensive stuff they don't need. More Storage? Get a flash drive. Better Frame rate? Quit using more than one app. Just spend 400 dollars and you're set for life.

PC gaming ,I believe, is much better than console. I still use consoles to play CoD and stuff similar. But PC is basically superior. It has the ability to run mods, which consoles can't do. [Unless you're a hacker] You also get much better frame rate on PC's, which is good for games with a lot of action. I played Left 4 Dead on PC, then on Xbox and immediately noticed the difference. PC is also better for a First-Person Shooter, where you may have to quickly turn around. PC is just, better.
BOY I LOVE NOT HAVING FRIENDS.

I've got a good laptop. Usually runs smoothly, but Steam games don't usually play right, so I end up mostly playing N64 games. Still on the lookout for a good version of MYST to run... Maybe someday. Guess I'm just not very good withcomputers in general. Oh well. :/
