The sun hung brightly above the sky, shining through the white puffy clouds that stayed bound to the atmosphere like glued on tufts of cotton to bright blue cardboard. The breeze gently carried vibrantly colored wings through the chilly September day. A young man, supposedly 17 strolls down the cracked sidewalk. He looks around, smiling at the beauty of Fall. He took a long, deep sniff of the crisp air that slightly nipped at the tip of his small nose. Upon exhaling the large breath he'd taken, he yawned and looked upward toward the seemingly never-ending sky. "I love fall.." He muttered before continuing to stroll down the long, cracked sidewalk.

He was a slender fellow, a tall lanky figure that had a thin frame. His skin lightly tanned and smooth, blue eyes that looked like pure diamonds. His hair spiked upwards toward the sides of his head, his medium-lengthed bangs parting away at the center of his face. It hung down a bit in the back, curling upward right at the base of his nick where it grazed his shoulders. He wore a gray fuzzy sweater that had a white-stripe pattern around the neck. It hung down past his waste but was tucked to the left, somewhat exposing a black shirt to his right. Long skinny jeans covered his legs comfortably, leading down to his Nike's, which were palleted in black and white.

"Cesar!" Called the voice of a nearby woman. He then paused and turned to see a shorter girl with straight auburn-red hair that hung down to her lower back, her cheeks rosey red and covered in freckles. She had bright hazel eyes that glistened like the purest of gemstones when they were hit by the sunlight. "There you are!" She exclaimed while panting like a dog. "What is it, Marzipan?" He asked, handing her a bottle of water he'd been saving. Her huffing subsided, thus allowing her to catch her breath when she quickly gulped down at least half of the bottle. "I wanted to know if you'd come over and help me plan my sister's birthday party." Marzipan admitted, twitling around in a flannel shirt with a matching skirt and dress shoes with pure white socks reaching up to her knees. Cesar smirked, stepping toward Marzipan. "Of coarse I will."

Later, the two arrived at Marzipan's humble abode. A two-story tall brick house that stood sturdily. The wooden front porch with a black screen-covering loomed over them as it was poorly built. Cesar walked with Marzipan down the earthy driveway, kicking up dirt and rocks with their shoes as they approached the side door. Marzipan turned the knob and pushed inward on the tall white door, holding it open for her friend. "Thank you, but ladies first." Cesar insisted, pulling her hand away from the door only to replace it with his own. "Why thank you, good sir." She snickered while mocking him with a prestigious voice when she stepped inside, Cesar following along with an annoyed but amused look on his face. Shutting the door behind him, Marzipan pulled him into the living room where scattered papers, a notebook, a gray Dell laptop and iPhone sat on the small coffee table at the center of the large room. The wooden walls gave off a sweet scent, similar to the forest when its perfectly fresh and moist outside. Cesar took a seat at one end of the coffee table while Marzipan moved the leather couch at the opposite side away and toward the old-fashioned television set that sat, unused in the corner of the room. "Let's get started!" She announced, gripping the notebook and a pencil. "Alright!" Cesar replied excitedly, also grabbing a pencil.

After what seemed like endless hours of planning, drafting, comprising, making phone calls and snacks, the two fell asleep on the floor.

Little did they know, they'd left themselves vulnerable to sudden death. The window in the small kitchen creaked open, a small silhouette stepping inside quietly, wielding a sharp knife. Cesar began to grow awake, rubbing his eyes with the palms of his thin hands. Looking up, he saw a figure standing over him and his friend, smiling psychotically. Cesar let out a sharp scream before kicking the figure away, making them slam into the wall and break some picture frames. "WHAT THE HELL!" Marzipan shot awake, looking over at the now shaky boy next to her. "Cesar?" She tried to get his attention but he stayed focused on whoever he'd kicked away. Marzipan clenched Cesar's arm when she looked over to see the figure stand back up, tightly gripping the hilt his blade. "Hee hee.." A scratchy voice emitted from the figures mouth as it stepped closer to the pair of teens. Both of them were too stunned to make a move themselves. The figure lunged toward Cesar, tackling him down while Marzipan rolled away to grab her phone and call for help. Cesar tried fighting back, but the more masculine figure was too overpowering. Holding the blade to Cesar's face, he uttered his final words as a human being. "I'LL SEE YOU IN HELL" suddenly, a sharp pain shot through him like a bullet train, causing him to scream out in unending agony. Throwing the figure off, Cesar gripped the knife that was lodged into his skull through the socket of his right eye, pulling it out with all the strength he had left before his brain gave into the injury that he suffered, shutting down his body systems entirely. The world around Cesar began to fade away, leaving nothing but cold emptiness.

"Am I dead?" He thought, looking around. "Where am I?" His monotone voice echoed. The world came swirling back, all he could see now was his own body below him, bleeding out uncontrollably. Cesar felt nauseous then tightly gritted his teeth. "Where are they.." He scanned the room, the killer was out of sight and so was Marzipan. "Marzi.." He whispered, sinking down to the floor. "I never even got to tell you how I feel.." He wiped away the tears that fomed in his eyes.

"Goodbye"

I paced around for hours on empty,
Jumped at the slightest of sounds.
I couldn't stand the person inside me,
I turned all the mirrors around.

sad. part 2???
Gamzee (2014-06-06 21:03:10)
Part two would most likely be told from the two different perspectives of Marzipan and Cesar.
Ok.
IF I CAN.

I paced around for hours on empty,
Jumped at the slightest of sounds.
I couldn't stand the person inside me,
I turned all the mirrors around.
