Children gathered around a scrawnier girl, hair frizzy and red. Somewhat curled in areas toward the ends of each strand, lined with strips of black that were contrasted by the lovely locks of auburn red strands growing out lovely from the pale girl's head. The complexion of her skin brought out her lovely hazel eyes, and small adorable freckles lining the center of her face under her eyes. She wore a lovely blue T-shirt, a glittery black pattern in the shape of a young puppy. Ragged ripped denim jeans covered her scrawly legs and most of her feet, the ends of them stained in dirt from running outside in old worn-out sneekers. The children gathered around the young girl, making fists with their hands and smirking devilishly. The scrawny girl gulped, backing away to the tall brick building trying to find a way to run away. But she was trapped, surrounded by the faces of older children. The sun blaring into her eyes while the breeze blew softly around the group of children.
"So, Aloyna. Hear any voices lately?" A young male asked tauntingly, stepping forward. Aloyna gulped, she didn't like answering those kinds of questions. She was always sensetive on the topic oh hearing voices, for she grew up with schitzophrenia. For as long as she could remember, Aloyna would hear and see things that aren't there. This always caused her to be quite paranoid, feeling as if someone's always watching her. Feeling as if everyone's out to get her, no matter who they were. Other children would always tease her, and give her a hard time about "hearing voices" and such, so she never really made any friends.
The group of children continued to ask her taunting questions, chuckling and throwing insults at the poor girl. This lasted for what felt like forever, until one of the staff members took notice of the bullying going on. A tall gangly woman, with short blonde hair and wrinkled skin stepped over to the group of children. "Stop this at once!" Her voice rasped, showing her ugly yellowed teeth. She'd been a smoker all her life, causing tar to harden over her aveoli where it broke and caused her voice to rasp terribly. The constant use of cigarrets caused her teeth to fade into yellow, and made her soft skin wrinkle and feel leathery. The children let out annoyed sighs and groans, slowly scuffling away. The older woman knelt down to Aloyna, her disgusting smoker breath burning the poor girls nostrils. She ignored it, however. "Listen, Aloyna. Try standing up for yourself. Whatever it takes, just do it. Then kids wouldn't pick on you anymore." Aloyna twiddled her fingers, obviously still saddened. The woman sighed, standing up. "I also have good news for you." She announced quiet enough to be in earshot of Aloyna. Aloyna perked up "Good news, Ms.Tabi?" Ms.Tabi nodded, gripping the girls hand. "Come with me to find out what it is." Aloyna nodded, being drug away by the taller woman.
After a few minutes of being guided through the orphanage, the two stopped at the adoption office. Aloyna's eyes lit up, and she practically squealed in happiness. Aloyna had lost her parents when she was four, only bits and pieces of the memory still remained. All she really remembers, was seeing a tall figure looming outside her bedroom window. Her ears rang and she began to black out slowly. And when she awoke, she was alone. Sitting on her bed, the house feeling dorman and empty. When she walked into her parents room, they were gone, vanished. Never seen again. Aloyna was now bouncing with joy, she knew why she was here. She was getting adopted! Not being able to contain her happiness, she ripped her hand away from Ms.Tabi, swinging open the door to the small office where a young couple stood with a young boy. She smiled brightly when her supposively new mother said her name, "Aloyna, we're you're new family. The Garin's." Aloyna rushed over to them, hugging the short raven-haired woman. She smiled back to the young girl, her new father and brother joining in. The family looked much different from their new 13-year-old daughter, they all had dirty brown hair and crisp blue eyes. They had a more tan complexion, but were a shorter bunch. Aloyna grew quite fond of them by the time they'd lived together in their large home for about a year.
Aloyna, now 14 was especially fond of her 16-year-old brother whom became very protective of her. He simply adored his younger sister, and would always help her get out of trouble. He even beat up a few kids for bullying her at school. Aloyna loved her humble mother and proud father. Alyssa and Jeremy Garin, followed by Malek Garin were now Aloyna's family. And nothing could ever change that, or so she thought.
Years passed after Aloyna's adoption, and she grew into the family as if they were biologically related. But often enough, upon reaching genetics and heredity in Science, people began to ask her why she looked almost nothing like her family. She'd usually dodge the question by trying to find a new conversation topic, but every time she heard the words "Why don't you look like your family?" she could feel a lump swell up in her throat. She absolutely hated the thought of her not really being the Garin's child. Eventually, people began to press on about it. But toward the middle of the second trimester, she just simply answered "I got the recessive traits. I.. look like my Grandmother."
By the time 10th grade hit though, people began to spread rumors about her. None however, were about her not looking like her family. People began to notice that Aloyna had various bruises and cuts on her body, unaware of her mental state. She often suffered intense hallucinations, that caused her to have seizures and often panic attacks. She'd usually end up hitting herself on furniture surrounding her, sometimes even trees when she wandered outside. The cuts, however, were a slightly differen't story. Though she may cut herself by accident on a sharper piece of furniture or a nicknack, other times it was because she couldn't handle the world around her. She was quite ignorant, as most cutters are. Some cut for the pleasure, others because they're mentally weak. Cutting doesn't solve problems, nor does it help. But Aloyna wouldn't listen to reason.
The rumors being spread involved her older brother 'playing' with her, others say she took abuse from her parents. But they were just kids, what harm could they possibly do? Her brother did love her, but he'd never be interested in her. He didn't really fancy women. Her parents were kind and gentle beings, and would NEVER hurt her unless necessary. Which meant if she needed a proper punishement, but that hardly ever came around. Malek even helped her get over cutting. He practically had to force her to stop. He'd often check on her, and if she had a sharp object, he'd take it away and give her a long grouling lecture that made him seem like her father, rather than her brother. But the case of her believing that these rumors couldn't hurt anyone, was wrong. Later that year, Aloyna was taken from her home and placed in the orphanage.
The trials were brooding, an the offense won the case by showing the court Aloyna's scars and bruises. Her parents tried their best with their lawyer, even bringing in medical records to prove she had hallucination-induced seizures from her schitzophrenia. But enough wasn;t enough. Aloyna was whisked away from the only family she ever really knew, and was placed back in the orphanage. Then, things began to get worse.
Everyday, just as when she was a child, other teens would bully her brutally. Mocking her and faking seizures just to make her feel horrible about herself. Medical conditions were no laughing matter-but to these bullies-they were. Life seemed more gloomy than ever, and nothing made it better. Aloyna would hide under her cot and cry when she wasn't working, often enough she'd run away from the orphanage and hide somewhere in town just to get away from it all. People would always pull at her long silky locks, often knotting her hair up and making it hard to brush. She would constantly stand in the bathroom, staring at her reflection in the mirror. She became so frustrated at one point, that she smashed the mirror and cut up her arms, but before anyone could come to the bleeding girl's aid, she'd picked up a glass shard and cut off most of her beautiful hair off. Leaving awful split ends, and uneven cuts along her hairline. People stopped pulling at her hair, and began to leave her alone, thinking she was crazy.
Months after months of endless torture, and Aloyna's emotions began to fade. She was becoming nothing but a shell of her former joyful, happy and sweet-hearted self. She began to lose her faith in human emotions such as love, trust, compassion, and care. One cold night in the middle of august, a group of teens plotted to do something horrible to Aloyna just to scare her. By the time the clock hit 10:00, everyone was asleep. Kinda odd, to be sleeping so early for teens. But in the orphanage they were usually put to bed early. That's wheen the teens decided to strike, they quietly crepts our of their cots and crawled toward Aloyna whom was fast asleep, snoring peacefully. A small chuckle rolled from an older girl's mouth as they slid their arms under her, picking her up carefully and carrying her down the steps of the many stairs of the bulind, straight to the cold and damp basement. They practically threw her down the cold stone steps, she shot awake upon hitting the first step, letting out a scream in pain as she hit step after step before hitting the floor with a great thud!
Aloyna, now bleeding from her forehead looked up at the luaghing teens as they slammed the door and locked it from the outside. Aloyna let out a twisted scream in fear, scrambling up the steps to hopelessly pound on the wooden door. She was now alone, the teens had returned upstairs to their cots, leaving the injured and crying Aloyna trapped in the basement. She began having a panic-attack, her eyes darting through the pitch black room. She felt chills race up her spine as fear shot through her body like a bullet train, she cried, endlessly sobbing in the darkness. After what felt like an hour, Aloyna stood up, wiping the tears from her face. This, THIS, was the last straw! she thought, stomping down the steps. "LET'S ALL JUST MESS WITH THE SCIZHOPHRENIC GIRL, HUH. PULL HER HAIR, HAVE FAKE SEIZURES, LOCK HER IN A BASEMENT!!" She yelled at the top of her lungs, finding an old water pipe slightly embeded into the wall. "WELL, TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT I GET THBE LAST LAUGH" she jerked the old rusted pipe out of the wall, making her way to the stairs as the voices in her head became louder, and louder. Practically screaming KILL, KILL, KILL!
Aloyna whipped the pipe around, a thick crack of wood, another after another, she violently beat the door before breaking off the door handle. She creaked it open, looking around, her eyes filled with pure bloodlust. She made her way up the flights of stairs, dragging the pipe behind her. She pushed open the door to the room the teens shared, creeping past the empty cots and toward the ones holding sleeping teens. She rose the pipe over her head, staring down at the teen, he was very scruffy looking. Hair black like raven feathers, with stubbles forming around the sides of his face. A lip ring shone under the moonlight peering in through the curtains.
"Say goodnight, Damien." She whispered into his ear. The boy woke up in a panic, staring up into Aloyna's cold eyes, he tried to let out a scream but Aloyna swung the pipe down and smashed his throat. All that came were gurgling noises as he spit up crimson-colored blood and gasped for air. The abrupt noises emerging from Damien awoke the other teens who let out shrill cries, utterly terrified. Aloyna began cackling maniacally, inching closer to the teens with the now blood-stained pipe. Gripping the impliment in her hands, she lunged forward and tackled down another girl with brunette hair and deep brown eyes, she managed to get out a scream before Aloyna began to smash her face in with the busted pipe while the last two teens made a run for the door, but it was locked! Their hearts began pounding, their blood pressure increased, pure terror shot through their bodies at the speed of sound. They began to kick and pound at the locked door, screaming louder after each step Aloyna took. She managed to dash across the room quickly, smashing the back of the blonde girl to the right's head in, before gripping her bleeding cranium and beating in the other's face in with it. Aloyna was now covered in blood, psychotic laughter eachoing through the room while police sirens could be heard in the background. She stopped, smashing the door knob off the blood-stained door and running up the last 3 flights of stairs before she found herself on the roof. She looked around, shivering in the endless downpour coming from the gloomy night time clouds. As police began invading the building, she took a step toward the edge of the building. She took in a deep breath, jumping off the edge.
Many weeks passed since the incident, and oddly enough, Aloyna's corps-which would have become mangled and bleeding by the time she hit the pavement-was missing. It was never found. No one had a clue what had happened to her. There was no trace as to where the young woman had gone. Some say, tje gates of hell opened up as she fell and she disappeared to burn for all eternity, but other say she must've gotten away somehow. But there was really no possible, nor logical solution to this.
But after a month or two, children began to go missing from homes and orphanages. Some were found, but never alive. Many ended up horrible mangled and mutilated, and dead. Usually they'd be found in the woods, other times in ally's or even near their homes. This had begun to happen to teens as well, and there were no leads on who the killer could be. But, there was one suspiscion after one victim turned up alive. A young boy, about 12 years old survived an attack from the maniac behind all of this. He describes the asaliant as tall, wearing a black trench coat reaching their ankles with clunky black boots. Hair, red and unevenly cut. Almost spikey. They wore black gloves and wielded an old rusted pipe stained in both fresh and dried blood. But the one thing that seemed oddest about his attacker, was that they hid their face with a white mask. Dark, cold eyes with an 'X' over the mouth and a small heart under the left eye, including a strange symbol written in what looked to be blood on the forehead.

The killer, could have been Aloyna Amalie Garin

I paced around for hours on empty,
Jumped at the slightest of sounds.
I couldn't stand the person inside me,
I turned all the mirrors around.
