The scene that really had an emotional impact on me was Claus' death in Mother 3. The main reason I picked this scene is because both the music and the way he died just really touched me. It was actually impossible for me to hold back my tears, so I just let it out(quietly because it would be awkward for me if I did it out loud) and I may have only seen it in a video, but just sitting here watching the whole thing made me really emotional. I downloaded the video off of Vloader because sometimes being emotional really makes a person feel good. I wanted to give a tribute to Claus so I decided to cosplay as him, even though I am a girl. I just, feel that when I wear the cosplay, people will remember how great Claus really was. Plus I sometimes makes them wish that Porky Minch was a real person so they could kill him, in Claus' honor, because I know I do.

So now that I'm done sharing my opinion, I want you to share your opinion on the saddest game scene you have seen in a video, or actually playing the game. Share how it had an impact on you. The best part of this thread is, you can say that you cried! Don't worry there are rules to this to assure nobody gets their feelings hurt from sharing their thoughts and feelings.

1) DO NOT LAUGH AT ANY USER WHO SAYS THEY CRIED

2) Do NOT say that the scene someone mentions is stupid. They are sharing their thoughts, and you don't wanna make them feel like poop.

3) BE APPROPRIATE!!! Nobody likes to hear someone tell them to kiss their ass because they think said scene is utterly stupid and yada yada yada.

4) If you feel the urge to cry, then cry. No one is stopping you.

5) Be polite! Either say something nice, or just keep your nasty mouth shut.

6) Have fun! Someone may feel the same way about a scene as you! You never know!

There was that scene in Fire Emblem Awakening where Emmeryn jumped off the cliff. My one friend actually cried. Also, Red Dead Redemption, The Walking Dead and the end train scene in Persona 4 Golden.

Nothing really comes to mind at the moment... I can't think of much I would consider "sad".... Many things gave me the "well, darn" feeling, but, hm....

Err.... I dunno. The Tales of Symphonia ending kinda got to me. It was so unnecessary for Lloyd's father to just friggin leave to float around in space for the rest of eternity.... Not to mention all the junk with Mithos...

And idk, that certain point you reach in every Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game. You know what I'm talking about.

In Ocarina Of Time: Seeing the extent of Ganondorfs power over seven years on the Castle Town and that your lifelong friend and childhood sweetheart died in the forest, only to be alive and waiting in the Sacred Realm.

In Majoras Mask: Darmani, Mikau, Lulu, that poor dead guard bloke who keeps wondering why everyone keeps passing by, the Deku Butlers son, EVERYTHING TO DO WITH KAFEI AND ANJU, and the list goes on... Still the best games ever, tho.

In megamanX5, Zero's ending was pretty sad. While X's is short and meh. Zero's is sad. "Iris...im...Sorry" when Zero said that, you can acutely tell how sorry Zero felt when he killed Iris. And plus Zero figures out the meaning of his 'Recurring Nightmare.' and plus Zero says these last words to X: "You should live." Thats what all Video Game characters should say when they Sacrifice themselves.
