There was once a guy named Dave who was 21 years old and loves in a small home full of cats. His parents, who loved cats a lot were murdered right before his eyes, causing Dave to feel a constant, extreme obligation to take care of and find a home for every stray cat he found. Occasionally one of the many cats in his house would turn into a human. This happened about once or twice a month.

Whenever this happened, the cat would ask Dave do do it a favor or get an item for it. After the task was complete, it would turn back into a cat. Inevitably, the event would be followed by an almost immediate visit from someone who wanted to adopt the cat. The cat would then be happy. Not every cat did this though. In fact, it was only cats that weren't able to be adopted and spent over two months in Dave's home.

Dave wondered why the cats would turn into humans and how it was even possible. More importantly, what was with those rediculaus quests he was sent on in order to make the human turn back into cats??! Last time a cat turned into a human, it was a little girl who insisted that Dave carry her to the top of the near by mountain to find a pink rock that she wanted.

Another time, a cat turned into a 13 year old boy and Dave was asked to give one piano lessons until it felt that it was good enough, only for it to turn back into a cat and just sleep on the piano. Another time, Dave was asked to give every single person in town a drawing that the cat made while in human form, because the cat who had turned into a person had always wanted to show her "art" to the world.

This day, however, was different. A random cat started to glow for a minute. Dave knew what this meant. He smiled.

"I wonder what kind of rediculaus task I'll be doing today?"

Dave walked over toward the cat. The cat turned into a woman exactly his age. Her iris were pink and she had rainbow hair.

"Rainbow dash?"

Said Dave sarcastically.

"I don't know who that is. Anyway, I've noticed you've never asked anyone about the tasks you were told to do and why you did them. You never even questioned them or pointed out that they seemed odd. Why?"

Dave couldn't believe his ears. Most humans who were once cats never even mentioned something like that, or even talked that much at all. They'd only be 100% focused on what they wanted to do before turning back into cats. Wait a minute, how did this one know about that though? Was she a stalker?

"How do you know so much about me?"

"What do you mean? I've always been with you. I've seen all the adventures you went on and every cat you took into your care."

Now that he thought of it, the one talking to him right now was the first cat he ever took in. The veteran. It was a gray cat with pink eyes. It never turned into a human and Dave never really gave her to anyone. He wanted to keep that particular cat because it was special to him.

"The reason I've never asked any questions is because... I didn't think it mattered at the time. I'm just glad I can makes the cats happy."

"I see. Well then, would you like to learn why?"

"Sure, but first, what task would you like me to do for you?"

"Oh, I didn't come to give you a task. I just thought its time you learned. You see, when a child dies, and is really good, it get to have one more extra day of life to have whatever wish he or she wanted granted. That's why the cats turn into them. It's because you're guaranteed to help them with whatever it is, since you love cats so much."

"That makes sense. So, the one named Tony from last week, he died before he could learn how to play the piano and that's why he wanted lessons?"

"That's right, Dave. He always wanted to play just like his mother. Everything you've done was the last dying wish of a child."

Dave had tears in his eyes. He had no idea he had been doing such a great thing all along.

"Is this true?"

Said Dave.

"No. You're actually a fegit who lives in a mental asylum, imagining this the whole time."

Suddenly Dave snapped out of his Phycosis and remembered that he had mental problems.

"Dammit."

I love you.
I'm an open book, there are few questions I won't answer honestly, no matter how embarrassing.

Knew that there would be an insane twist when I saw the first grammatical error.
"Ugh, I need to go masturbate now. Whenever I get mad or worried, that's what I do."
