I've been getting a lot of PMs recently that make me want to vomit when I read them. So, I'm going to put together a nice PM tips guide.
This is usually a big iffy for sending PMs. If you're going to send a complaint PM to someone, the word "hi" wouldn't be a really great subject. Because chances are, the person you're sending to, probably won't even open the PM. Keeping the 'complaint PM' in mind, you wanna use a subject that can immediately attract attention to the recipient. So, a good subject for that would be I do not enjoy what you're doing.... That'd get my attention immediately.
No one likes a PM they can't read! Well, atleast I certainly can't. Please use decent grammar. no1 lykz it wen u tlk lyk diz!!111!11. Yeah, you get my point. Also, if you are unaware of how a word is spelled, you can use a similar word, or you atleast spell it with the very best of your ability. No one should be spelling "pencil" like "pinsel".
No one likes a big goop of words all clustered together. Use the enter key at times. Make sure your recipient can read all of your PM without them trying so hard to look for something, or just getting confused to what they're reading. Also, use sub headings if necessary. Meaning, title your paragraph if needed.
Unless it is an absolute SUDDEN change of events, no one wants to see 50 PMs of the same topic. Say what you need to say in one and one PM only.
Alright, I think that's it for now. Sorry to give you a big English lesson, but I've been getting super annoyed by the PMs I've been receiving lately.
