Jason2k14 (2014-08-09 10:20:51)Totally agree. It's wierd how you forum moderators have to clean up spam, but first you wanna ban the spammer. But with no power to ban, you'd have to look for a chat mod, and if they're not online, then you're screwed.
And why is it even named a Deleter 2000? Shouldn't it be a Locker 2000 since it doesn't delete? I'm having a feeling the idea of the deleter 2000 that does not delete was a whole set up just to laugh at the forum mods.

And 75% of those alts are spam accounts.
Would you rather have to go through deleting hundreds of threads, or making 50 posts in a chatroom?

I have several ideas to help us forum mods with these god damn spam attacks.
1) Bring back striking, but only for forum mods with a few tweaks. They should be able to ban/unban alts and remove strikes. Before I was a chat mod it was a pain in the ass after the crash.
2) Only allow accounts to create 3 threads a day. This one would slow spammers down a lot and really help us forum mods. These spammers (with lives not included) are really starting to piss me off, so why don't we piss them off by adding this to slow them down a lot?
3) The Deleter 2000 should DELETE threads. Enough said.
