About three months ago, I released the horrible monster known as Drek the Ogre into the world. Nothing bad had happened, so I simply forgot about Drek. Until that day. It was Midnight on August 18th, 2014. I was fast asleep. Something violently pulled off my blankets, and I shot up like a rocket. I looked around my room. Nothing. I pulled my blankets back on and closed my eyes. I was about to drift off, until I heard a demonic voice whisper "Layers have ogres". I opened my eyes. The sight before me was horrifying. It was Drek! He had come for my layers. I tried to run, but before I was even able to get up, Drek grabbed me. I started to scream. My parents ran into the room. Drek looked at them with hunger. He grabbed them with his other hand and ate them. I screamed even louder as Drek began to strip me of my layers. "IT'S NOT ONIONS YET, LADDEH" Drek laughed.
With all of my remaining energy, I yelled "SHREK IS NOT DREK!". Drek froze.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" a mighty voice echoed throughout the room. All of a sudden, a green figure burst through my ceiling. It was Shrek! Shrek grabbed Drek by the ogre ears and ripped them right off of his blue head. Drek screamed in pain. "BYE BYE!" Shrek yelled as he kicked Drek in the balls, sending him flying out my window. A rainbow of explosions appeared from where Drek landed. While admiring the beauty of the explosions, I noticed Shrek looking at me. I knew what he wanted. We had hot, sweaty shrex the rest of the night. I can still taste his sweet onion sauce to this very day.

Shrek is love.
Shrek is life.
