This is a Mix between Danganronpa and Pokemon. Pokemon needs no introduction, but it is Danganronpa that heavily effects the setting, thus will be discussed

Without spoiling anything, Danganronpa is a series of Visual Novels focused on Hope's Peak Academy, where 16 students with great natural potential (sans 1, who is allowed through sheer luck) are given an education guaranteeing their future success....Until the Mutual Killing game begins.

The students find themselves awakening in a a strange place that mirrors Hope's Peak Academy, and are instructed by their Mysterious Headmaster that the only way to escape is to murder a classmate. Once a student has been murdered, an investigation, followed by a Class Trial will begin, in which the students must find the identity of the killer. If they are successful, the murderer is executed in a violent, cruel, and almost poetic manner. If they fail, the murderer is allowed to leave, and the other students will all be executed.

This RP will follow a similar structure.

16 young, talented Pokemon trainers are all forced to unknowingly walk into an academy, not knowing the evil that lies behind it's walls....

You have always heard of it, a small academy on the outskirts of the Sevii Islands. An academy that gave birth to many great Gym Leaders, Elite 4, and even Champions. When the message was given to you, by by letter, phone, PC, or whatever communication you had at the time, it felt unreal. Your talent as a skilled trainer, nay, expertise over a Type has been recently gaining recognition, be it from your skill as a Coordinator, your massive Win streak in the Battle Tower, Your service as a Pokemon Ranger, or through whatever means, You've been accepted; Sans a single one of you. That one has very little experience, barely any achievements of their own, and their partner Pokemon is just a gift from a relative. To this one, gaining the invitation was the biggest shock of all.

As you all await for the ship to sail, you all figure it'd be nice to chat with each other...

Appearance: (Be very descriptive . I need more than clothing descriptions, and If you're going to spend more time describing your outfit over your body type, your outfit description best be a 10/10)

Personality: (I need at least a paragraph. More than that the more complex you intend to make your character's personality)

Hometown: (Your character's Home Town. Bonus points if fitting.)

Partner Pokemon: (You're character's main partner Pokemon. Please avoid spamming the same overhyped stuff. There are well over 700 Pokemon, pick stuff like Trevenant, Glaceon, and Ariados. I won't outright deny Lucarios and Charizards and whatnot, but please be creative.)

(Bonus points if fitting with the character's personality and talent, like a professional thief with an arrogant, self-centered personality with a Weavile or a Honchkrow for a partner, or a pilot with a habit of being incredibly loyal and protective of his friends with a Braviary backing him up.)

Expertise: (Your character's main type. Please don't spam stuff like Dragon expert and other popular types. I'd rather see someone maining something like Poison or Normal over "Le Epic Dragon Master #1636868534675324699842)

Talent: (Aside from being good at your respective type, what brought you your attention? Your contest fame? Pokestar Studios? Your mission record as a Pokemon Ranger? Your massive Game Corner winnings? Or are you the one talentless hack that got in by pure luck?)

Other: (Other tidbits of information, such as favorite foods, phobias, their goals in life, people they care about, their absolute deepest darkest secret. You know, just normal stuff I may or may not care about when making motives....)

1) Standard RP etiquette is to be had throughout the duration of the RP. Please, be respectful of the integrity of the story being told through the characters and the RP's Admin (Myself), and don't set about trying to purposely derail this too hard.

2) This being in the Murder Mystery genre, a major point is who has what knowledge at any given time. While you may collaborate with each other OOC during the game periods, IC, characters must not only refrain from the breaking the sacred Player/Character knowledge barrier but the Character/Character barrier as well.

2-1) The first infractions are going to be given warnings. If this persists, I will actively have you and your character removed from the RP, and in this RP, removals are bloody.

3) Participation is important during both the Game and RP sections. While I won't hold it against you if something comes up, the point of RPs following this structure is that the cast begins to thin out as they go along, so while I will keep your character "safe" until you get back, I can only do so for so long, and you may return to find your character has been murdered.

4)This is to be written from a third person perspective in the standard prose format. None of that chat garbage is allowed here; You need actual lines of text in your posts.

4-1) Much like rule 2, I won't straight out do anything unless the behaviour is persistent and I see your character as adding little to the overall setting, so you may find yourself offed after repeated warnings.

5) I won't tolerate any characters acting like Superman in the 60's; Your talents and skills are laid out in the original character sheet that I accepted, so no making new skills up as you need them because they're useful.

5-1) In addition, there is a somewhat realistic stance on a lot of things in this RP.

No "Hurr I spent a night training my Pokemon in the gymnasium so he could learn a new move, and that move is so incredibly useful and relevant to what we're doing now."

It would be "Wow, we spent an entire night in the gym trying to figure out a new move, we're tired as balls, and turns out Fire Blast isn't really helpful as to what we're needing now, which is something capable of putting out a fire"

6) There are game-specific rules that will be enforced more strictly. Breaking the game rules will result in removal from the RP

7) Over the course of similar RPs, Offed players tend to have very little to do after their characters are killed/executed. For these players, a second RP thread will open up sometime in the future, which is unrelated to the Murder Mystery setting of this one. They may directly send their characters there to participate without needing to type up a new sheet.

8) The story for the RP revolves around the performance of the characters, and by extension, the RPers, in the game segments. Meaning it's entirely up to how well you play the game as to how the story develops as well as how it ends.
