ONCE UPON A TIME THERE WAS THE UNIVERSE. And in the universe was billions of galaxy superclusters. And in one of the galaxy superclusters was a galaxy cluster. And in the galaxy cluster was the Milky Way. And in the Milky Way was the Orion Arm. And in the Orion arm was our solar system. And in our solar system was Earth. And on Earth was the United States of America. And in the United States of America was Colorado. And in Colorado was a dark house. And in that dark house was a darker bedroom. And in the dark bedroom darker than the rest of the house was a darker closet. In the dark closet darker than the bedroom and darker than the rest of the house was a darker jacket. In the dark jacket darker than the closet and the bedroom and the rest of the house was a pocket. Inside that really really really dark pocket was... A JELLYBEAN. And in the jellybeans was sugars. And in the sugars were proteins. And in the proteins were molecules. And in the molecules were atoms. And in the atoms were electrons, protons, and neutrons. And in the electrons, protons, and neutrons were bosons, NERD particles, and neutrinos, I guess. And beyond that we have no knowledge of because we're not as advanced and in tune with the universe as aliens are. The End.

How could you not "kare" about quarks? Of course, we aren't certain, as modern quantum mechanics has passed the point in which experimentation can give "concrete" evidence...but quarks...
