I was just wondering, I was going to the 3dsplaza Shop to get C4 when I noticed the "Extras" icon and I noticed the Reputation system. I was wondering what is the "Reputation" system, also why is it obsolete? If you can give me any other info about this I would like that a lot.

Back in 2013, the rep system was on a user's profile. Other users could give a +1 respect if they like that particular user, or they can give a -1 disrespect if they don't like that user...these votes would affect that user's Reputation, which started at a default 50% upon joining the site. Ideally, reps were supposed to be given when a user was respectful or disrespectful, however naturally, users only favoured popular users, and used disrespecting for hate. The system was then changed so that only users with 51% reputation were allowed to respect/disrespect, and anyone else would be able to gain rep through making threads that gain appreciation....However, 20+ appreciation was needed (collectively) to gain just 0.01% of positive rep, which made getting to 51% extremely hard.
Eventually, the rep system was completely removed because no one really cared about it anymore.
