Prologue
Year 2001
Two magi stand tall, atop the Twin Towers in New York. They look at each other, as the first plane comes into view. "Now we stop it. Delay the arrival." "At the cost of many lives..." The female magi yells to the male, her husband "Many more would have been lost if we hadn't decided to do this... The armies of the Otherworld would already be upon us. Lets hope our children, remember us, and continue our legacy...." She is stopped before she could finish her sentence as the plane hits the first tower. She yells "Now! Do it now!" She chants as the second plane approaches and as it hits the male magi shouts "Begone! Leave this place and never return!" In Latin. He chants as he falls. However, he is killed before he can finish the spell, and so their efforts will only last, for 13 years...

Time 03:00
Indigo wakes with a shock. The dream still fresh in his mind, he decides to take a walk. He silently walks past his sisters room, he can hear her snoring. He smiles at the sounds of the house. They reassure him. He unlocks the door and walks out. He walks up and down the street, every time he gets calmer. Suddenly, he hears a sound. A squirrel maybe? He looks where the noise came from, he only sees a tree. He sighs "It's only paranoia. There is nothing..." An arrow whizzes past his ear "There" his eyes widen as he pulls out a book with a shield on it. "DEFENO!" A defending screech is emitted from Indigo's hand, stunning the hidden foe. "REVEALO!" He yells as his hidden foe begins to glow. He smiles and pulls out a different book, this one with a sword "Infrinus!" His foe is engulfed in flames, however the surrounding plants are not, as Infrinus only affects humans. He runs to the house as fast as possible, and closes the door silently, as not the wake his "Next time, warn me when you use Infrinus" sister. He sighs. "I thought you were asleep?" "Before you used Defano? Yes. After? No. I wasn't in a coma you know." He smiles. He looks at his twin sister, Violet. Her long brown hair looks ok, considering she just got up. Her indigo eyes look full of joy, but also of great sorrow. He smiles. "So, you want me to use Ulgahni to make you look better?" Violet laughs. "Use the ugly spell to make me look better? Yup. You're fine" Indigo smiles. Despite all they've been through, a simple joke removes all tension between them. He turns and locks the door. "Come on. We do have an English test tomorrow, lets get to sleep" he goes back to his room, expecting to be awake for the rest of the night, but as soon as his head hits the pillow, he falls asleep.

Time 15:45
Indigo was not having a good day. He overslept and got detention because he was late, failed his English test, forgot his Maths homework and his lunch. Then, just as it seemed nothing else could go wrong, the dragon attacked. It should have been a normal Friday, going through the last classes of the day, what could go wrong? As he found out, everything could go wrong. He was sitting in History, oh he HATED History. Why did he pick this subject? He looked out the window, 20 long minuets left in class. Sighing, he glances over at his sister, she too seems to be bored, but at least she enjoys History. He glances at the clock. "Indigo!" He jumps. "Yes miss?" The teacher sighs "I asked you a question! Who blah blah blah yack yack blah?" Indigo stares at the wall, not even listening to the teacher. He notices a strange shadow on the wall. He turns his head, glancing out the window. His eyes widen as he sees a large scaled wing. He faintly hears his sisters voice. Suddenly, the entire class slumps down, and the teacher falls to the ground. Violet jumps to her feet. "Let's go. I called in some backup" "Wait, we are the only magi in the school, right?" Yup!" "But then who-" his question is answered as his nemesis walks in. "So, we meet again Indigo" "Nikara, you dare show your ugly face after what happened last time?" Violet whistles. "Shut up both of you. We have a dragon to stop"
Nikara glares at Violet. He sighs. "Fine then. Let's go." He runs out the door. "Why did you ask HIM Violet? Why not call in Bhroodon, or Mia, or Damian?" Violet sighs "You think I WANTED to ask him? There was nobody else in this country. They are all off preparing for The Battle. Nikara was the only one. Come on. We have a dragon to stop" Indigo sighs "Fine. Let's go"

Time 15:50
Nikara runs behind Indigo. If his plan is to work, he must gain The Trust of The Chosen, and Indigo just happens to be a chosen. They arrive outside. Nikara gets a better view of the dragon, and he wishes he hadn't. The indigo scales of the dragon are coated in a crimson liquid, possibly blood. Broken weapons are lodged in its tail. It's green eyes stare into Nikara's soul. <It probably sees a deceiver> he thinks. The dragon roars as Indigo grabs his sword. Violet creates one from thin air, since when could she do that! Nikara grabs his knife and jumps at the dragon. He begins to stab it but slips off. "Yup. It's blood." He pulls out his spear and throws it at the dragons eye, piercing it. The dragon screams in pain and stares at Nikara with its one good eye. Nikara smiles as Violet and Indigo charge it. "Let them have fun with that. I don't like them anyways." He turns around and walks back into school

Indigo looks down from atop the dragon, Nikara is nowhere to be seen. "Just as I expected. Can't hurt his own" he plunges his sword into the dragons back "Pet!" Violet sighs. "He might just be getting another weapon! After all, his old one is lodged in the dragons eye..." Indigo sighs. <How convenient. His spear is stuck in a dragons eye, giving Nikara an excuse to run away. That seems to be his best talent>
Indigo looks into the school and sees Nikara inside their classroom. What was he doing?
Nikara ducks down, below the window, so he can't be seen. He crawls over to Violets bag and takes out her keys. On the top, a golden key glistens in the sunlight. He smiles. "Gotcha." He turns around and dashes back outside. He remembers to grab a sword, just so he seems less suspicious. Once he returned outside he could see that Indigo and Violet had already finished it off. "Oh. Well, I guess I was too late." He smiles, knowing how close he is to finishing his plans.

Time 10:00
Indigo wakes with a start. This is the 3rd time he had that same dream. "The magi, the towers, what does it mean?" He gets out of bed and walks downstairs. What greats him in the kitchen shakes him to the core. The kitchen has been turned upside down, the fridge is on the table, which is covered in blood. On the wall, there seems to be some sort of writing in blood. It says "Doo atkar viet nay" Indigo stutters "Watch you back child." His eyes widen as he walks into the living room, there, on the couch is the dead body of a man that was killed by fire. Indigo sighs "Infrinus" he mutters as he remembers the man he killed. Suddenly he hears a scream "Violet!" He runs upstairs and, in Violets room, on the wall, once again in blood, is "Ufg matgar nhu ponfu" Indigo stutters once more. "Before it's too late" he dashes into his room and grabs his tomes. He looks out the window and sees a strange man throwing Violets limp body over the wall. No he only sees red. He jumps out of the window and runs to the wall, he takes out his tome and casts "Juam!" He flies over the wall and lands beside the man. He looks into its eyes, only to be greeted by eyes as grey as concrete. He flicks through his Combat Tome and casts "COMBUSTO." He watches the man go up in flames, despite this, the man manages to survive. "Oh no" Indigo flicks through his tomes once more and finds an interesting spell that might just work. "FISSIURE!" He yells as the man begins to crack in half. "As expected" he turns around, only to see Nikara! "I see my friends weren't enough for you" something knocks Indigo down, as he begins to loose conciseness. "Maybe I will be" Nikara says as he punches Indigo in the face

Nikara walks out from the cell. He slams the door, leaving Indigo inside, without his tomes, and essentially powerless. He walks past Violets cell, the chains sending shocks through he body. He decides to shock her himself, just in case. He walks into his masters room. "Sir, the twins are chained up. No chance of escape." His master chuckles "Good, now leave this place. I'm afraid I simply can't have you around here anymore. The other option is to kill you, but I know you wouldn't like that, would you?" Nikara's eyes widen "N-no sir! I will leave right away!" Nikara dashes away, before his master changes his mind.
Indigo awakes, his arms and legs chained up. "Wha-where am I?" The guard outside the door replies "The Twins Prison, your sister is beside your cell." The guard seems to say this with bitterness in his voice. "Hmm, your voice sounds-" "It sounds like my voice" the guard snapped. "Do you want food later or not?" Indigo smiles "Yah, I do Nikara" the guard sighs "Nikara was fired. I'm Arakin" he says. "Would you like it with or without S.A.L.T.?" "With please. I could use a bit of Special Ability Learning Technique." "Some Ketchup Eventhoughits Yellow?" "Yah, I could do with a K.E.Y." Arakin begins to walk away "They shock every five minuites, that's a very small window of time. Go left, left, right. Prepare for a fight" Arakin walks away, leaving Indigo to think.

Arakin arrives in the canteen area. He walks up to the counter. "A dinner for our Special Guest. Well the one that is still conscious." The man looks at him, as Arakin winks. "Just roll with me here. You want to overthrow that tyrant, right?" The man sighs. "Just get what you need to give him, and make it snappy." Arakin turns and runs to the storage area. He grabs Indigo's tomes and the spare keys. He also grabs a sword, he has a feeling he will need it. He returns to the canteen area. "Ready?" The man asks "Yup, just get the distractions ready" Arakin turns and walks back to the cells.
Indigo looks up and sees Arakin enter the cell block. "What took you Arakin?" "Traffic was terrible, what do you think?" He tosses the keys to Indigo. "Wait for a distraction. Use this for Violet." He throws a potion in a can at him. "And you might need to fight"
