I ran for miles and miles not knowing why I was running or what I have been running from. All I know is that if I didn't run that doom would befall myself. I hear the trees cranking and smashing on the ground behind me quite some distance back. A deafening roar scorched my ear as I threw my hands over my ears and fall to my knees.

I still have no idea who that man who was clad in all black was. Or what was chasing me. All I know is that this is my thanks to him. This note is all the thanks I can give before I set out with my new powers and search for the man in black. I will fight by his side to protect those who are hunted by these demons.

Look for me in the shadows. For I am an assassin and my name is Dante.
