SicSemperTyra (2015-01-12 21:34:21)Levi's "reason" for his site was that 3dsplaza didn't manage a community well.(lies) He thought he could do better and made his site from forum software.(unlike 3dsplaza) He also thinks 3dsplaza should've been for all Nintendo consoles and it should be a 3ds app. The thing he doesn't understand is Rob only wanted to make a 3ds community website that worked with the browser. He just wants to be popular.

I went on his site just to look around, but didn't register, and oh gosh, we could do so much better. He acts as if his games that he has there and his gallery ( I suppose if there is, I feel lazy to check ) makes there much, much better than here.
I'll be checking in on this site from time to time. It's not as good as it used to be, but it wouldn't hurt to check in.

This rant is regarding Wapka. I know that many other types of site builders would apply as well but I'm just going to stick with it.
These days, I see Wapka links all over the place like in the forums and mostly in the chat. We're going to look into that today, along with the 'promotion' system.
Some people are just too childish with their behaviour, not understanding the whole point of being promoted to a higher rank. For this, I'm gonna call them 'nubz' because they seem to be wanting to be called one (for their ways) and because it's a shorter way of identifying them.
Wapka was intentionally supposed to be a web builder for old phones (not touchscreen or whatever), for a bit of proof use common sense and search for 'WAP'. Really popular thing it was and even now.
When these nubz go to these Wapka sites, they create an account because they want to be promoted, they ask the owner and bam, the owner mindlessly promotes them. Simple as that for many. Most of the time on proper sites, it's declining (you're an awesome proper owner if you).
So, what happens beyond that point? Well, they could go onto normal sites (not site builders) such as this and post links saying that they're mod or whatever they've requested to be and post the link. Little do these nubz know that they're breaking the rules on an actual site which was not lazily made (real work was put into it) unlike Wapka.
Getting banned on Plaza because of Wapka with a mix of stupidity? Wow. Not worth it at all, to the nubz it may seem worth it to them though.
Most sites like here have an actual promotion system, based on trust and the rules being followed, like many fortunately (yay no mindless mods).
Really popular sites such as Google, Facebook and Twitter requires you to have a job with them (which I'm not going to get into).
So if the nubz in the future want to get a job, would they beg like the homeless? Would they actually be homeless?
We don't really know but if they continue then that could be the case. That or they'll live with their parents for a long time. As I said, we don't know so it could differ.
That's my rant done. What about yours? I've originally typed this all up without any editing so correct any typos or whatever (as long as it's valid). Adding on to the rant would be greatly appreciated as well. I'll edit anything I like into this.
