Regional ban system.
Jason2k15 (2015-02-21 02:54:43)I kind of like this, and then there's another side of me that doesn't...
Hmm..
I'll be checking in on this site from time to time. It's not as good as it used to be, but it wouldn't hurt to check in.

Language is a tool for efficient communication. The internet is a tool for fast communication. Do not defy both intents by posting incoherent writing.

I just exist at this point. Nothing too special going on.
ED (2015-03-03 17:17:04)The banning system now is like communism; the same rules apply to every part of the site.
What you suggest however is that the site becomes a ''Federal Republic'', where the chats and forums have their own (yet similar) rules. If that would happen, the moderating will be harder for global mods as they'll need to warn accordingly. It's like the states; all have different rules. Perhaps even having the CM as Head President, and one president for the chats, and one president for the forums?

I understand we already have a fully functioning Ban system, but I do see certain flaws in the current system. (I bet others have come up with this idea before.) Instead of a full-on Ban system, something like a Regional ban system.
Say; You always break rules in the Chat.. But, you often use the Forums the most? Since the Forums and the Chats do technically have different rules instead of being banned EVERYWHERE, you would just be banned from using the Chats. You get the idea eh? But say, you break rules in all three main regions ( Profiles, Chats, and Forums.) you get an extended full ban with added more than usual time.
Breaking rules in 1 region; 1 day. (Depending on how bad the rule breaking is)
Breaking rules in 2 regions; 3 days. (Again, depending on how bad it is, but still.)
Breaking rules in 3 regions; 5 days.
Get the idea? Yeah. Just a simple suggestion, it could work - it could not work. Regardless, that is all.
