I can't take it,
Not any longer.
I may just plunge into eternal slumber,
Threatened by headlights.
The nights are cold, and keep getting colder.
But that's when I feel her hand on my shoulder,
I cry and tell her to go away
But her ghost is here to stay.
It's my fault she's gone,
My fault she's lost.
I gave her that fright,
And she bled through the night.
Now it's my turn.
I paced around for hours on empty,
Jumped at the slightest of sounds.
I couldn't stand the person inside me,
I turned all the mirrors around.
Not any longer.
I may just plunge into eternal slumber,
Threatened by headlights.
The nights are cold, and keep getting colder.
But that's when I feel her hand on my shoulder,
I cry and tell her to go away
But her ghost is here to stay.
It's my fault she's gone,
My fault she's lost.
I gave her that fright,
And she bled through the night.
Now it's my turn.
I paced around for hours on empty,
Jumped at the slightest of sounds.
I couldn't stand the person inside me,
I turned all the mirrors around.
