AntiChrist (2015-05-28 15:41:39)All it takes is I e pissed off aquantince to make an anonymous tip that leads to getting your children taken away. If the CPS ever comes to your house, remember these things.
1. They will try to twist their words around an make you contradict yourself. They will nitpick at anything they can to use it against you.
2. Do not let them in your home if it isn't clean. If there's a small mess somewhere they will be like "oh look. Unhealthy living conditions. Better write that down."
3. Record their conversations. This will help you for obvious reasons.
4. They are not your counselor, therapist, etc. Do not tell them you were abused as a child if they ask you. Their logic is if you were abused as a child, you will do they same to your kids. Even if the CPS members are acting sympathetic, they really only are trying to use it against you.
5. Always be present when they are talking to your children. You are allowed to say no if they want to talk to your kid alone. If these are people who twist everyone's words around, you will not want them getting your kid to say things he/she doesn't want to or mean.
6. Let your kid know about them ahead of time. You want to be prepared.
One crucial thing; do not show even the SLIGHTEST signs of anger. They will use that against you and say you are showing signs of aggressiveness.

Here's the deal. A special needs child, Bubby Everson, was taken from his home by the CPS for no apparent and legitimate reason. Because my (amazing and elegant) words have convinced only one (cri) person to sign, I'm gonna copy a few paragraphs from the petition.
"He is a medically/mentally fragile child with a long list of diagnosis includes but isn’t limited to Congenital CMV; autism; brain calcifications; global delay; intellectually challenged; ODD; ADHD; sensory processing disorder; epilepsy; microcephaly; executive functioning impairment disorder; deaf with cochlear implants; G-tube fed a blended diet and formula; cerebral palsy; scoliosis; and compromised immune system.
BUT NOW, he is one of the most recent victims of CPS Corruption.
On Friday, May 22nd, the Everson's lives were torn apart as he was taken from his obviously loving parents, and the only home he knows, over allegations of medical neglect. The accusation?
Mom rescheduled rehabilitation therapy (assessing his Cerebal Palsy and checking range of motion in his legs and feet). CPS is also "concerned" that she "MIGHT" get stressed out in the future and neglect him, despite zero instances in 9 years which she has ever been too stressed to care for her child."
