But if you question is "Do you believe you might be mentally ill or have any developmental disabilities?" my answer is , Yeah, and my mom is getting me diagnosed for autism soon, actually '_'
I am like 95% sure I also have Borderline Personality Disorder but I don't want to "self-diagnose"....
Although recently I started to pretty much say I have autism because I'm like 99% sure and so is my mom. That diagnosis crap just takes too long.
I'm only "diagnosed" with Social Anxiety and Dysthymia but the people who diagnosed me weren't that great at their job and didn't even give me like any real tests; they just had my mom fill a few papers out.
Like, listen buddy. I'm gonna understand my own symptoms better than my mom. I have symptoms my mom can't notice sometimes, or sometimes she realizes after I tell her.
So I'm getting like a more official diagnosis soon. I hope they check me for BPD too because I really think I might have that too.
But I pretty much already know I have autism.
It honestly explains like, pretty much my entire life.... I was such an odd kid...

Autistic people aren't retarded, just disabled in a mental way, and it's actually mainly because our society is made only for for allistic (non-autistic) people.
This society actually doesn't care much about autistic people.
Otherwise so many autistic people wouldn't feel the need to "hide" their autism and wouldn't hesitate to do natural autistic things, like swimming for example.
I know I always hesitate to stim in public because I try my hardest to not look like a weirdo but it's pretty much impossible.
It's sad because most of the autistic who can pass as not having it try as hard and we can still tell that we look different from everyone else no matter how hard we try to seem neurotypical....
