Why the registration should be opened up again

2) Very true. Though you should note that the site is getting lack of support from its developers. All they do now is bug fixes and enabling/disabling things.
3) Yup. Though don't some leave anyway as users most of the time talk about things not to do with the platform the site is about?
Sure, newsposters would put up stuff that's to do with the 3DS like games, but there isn't much being said about it and there isn't much being put out like for instance Smealum's and yls6's work. More 3DS news means more relevance meaning more interest meaning more interactivity.

1) We are still getting Nuenez PMs. Closing the registration didn't stop that.
2) Keeping it closed will guarantee the total demise of Plaza. This was already a moderately inactive site. We only have about 20 people at maximum that actually use the forums on a regular basis.
3) Current users will get even more bored of this site and leave because there is no one new to talk to.
