Where it began:
Plaza originally didn't have Youtube video support and for good reason:
The 3Ds couldn't process a Video on it's browser. but nowadays more and more 3Ds plaza users are PC or Mobile DSi and 3DS users are rare, thus 3Ds plaza is now more...PCPlaza than anything else and eventually we got a code for the forums that allowed for youtube videos

which worked fine on the forums but it didn't work on profiles...nap! foiled again by Plaza's limitations! as the years gone on some people were still thinking it worked on profiles... and I wanted to see if it did and after a lot of work...
It is possible however it has a few requirements and some kinks not quite worked out yet this is where you guys come in:

Requirements:

*Embed code

This can be obtained in two ways simply left click on a video and it should show a button saying "Copy Embed Code" click it and it should automatically be copied to your clipboard

==or==

Simply skip to the end of the video and scroll down and click "Embed"

The problem:
The profile is recognizing the embed code as text not an actual <iframe> code! thus it puts the text there and the youtube video doesn't load because the profile isn't telling it to do what it should I don't know if it's possible to get the profile to recognize it as such and in a format that can be put into the "about me" box if so we can FINALLY have youtube videos on profiles!. what uses does this have? well what ever ones you want but I can think of a good use for it on top of other things.

♪MUSIC!♫
I'd like to see profiles with something new and have something you can listen to while browsing the profile purely for other users it'd be a lot better than plain silence... so music could be used any piece you could even match it up with your profile
theme!

aside from that you could use it to express a bit of who you are and what people can expect from a user like you thus I think i'd be a nice addition I just need help translating the code for use in the "about me" section

Aside from that I do have a few other codes 2 to be exact (purely so this isn't a TOTAL rip-off):

[style] h2{content:url(IMAGE URL HERE);}[/style]
This is the code that allowed me to do this:
\
Note: for some reason it doesn't work on Mozilla Firefox however this is the only browser that seems to have the issue It works fine on 3DSIB,Edge,and Chrome

[style] h2 img{height:[height here]; width:[width here];}[/style]
this code allows you to resize the logo to your liking.

Anyway enjoy the codes and if you feel like you got an idea on how to help with the youtube problem then please by all means comment below! -b

The choice is yours...

You simply can't get a video to play on profiles unless the BBCode is added onto it.

The closest you're going to get is to load a thumbnail image looking like it's from the iframe and making it have a hyperlink pointing towards the video.

About music: it involves HTML5 (which typically uses JavaScript). As you're only able to use CSS and the BBCodes that's there, don't expect it to be something that would be allowed or able to be done easily.

Actually there are a few very complicated ways to allow things like videos on profiles. Anything, actually. I did some pretty impressive things when I was moderator during the reign of Fred. I'm working on something right now too. You'll all be like, wow'd soon.
I'm an open book, there are few questions I won't answer honestly, no matter how embarrassing.
