Speaking of earlier rodeos, I remember when I picked up BFG Edition for DOOM 3. I was so hyped to play everything again, until I realised that I had to have Steam open and had to be online as games nowadays aren't the easy disk-install and play type any more.
So I sat there staring at the box all Christmas until I eventually got my wifi back. I huddled up in the corner playing through all three games all night on my laptop.

Alright, I know, I probably should've started this the day before it came out, than the end of the day after... But yet, here we are.
So: DOOM (or Doom 4) just came out. Are any of you picking it up? Have you already picked it up (and if so, feel free to post your first impressions!)?
