If Plaza doesn't get renewed by the time its expires, then that means the site will be down. Does anybody have ideas to keep Plaza up?

I don't know why you're worrying. It's perfectly normal to have months left before the domain expires.
Rob is likely to renew the domain before it expires. As far as I'm aware, the domain holder would have like a week or two after expiration to renew before it gets released to the public for others to get hold of.

As for the VPS (which is unlikely what you're talking about), he uses it for other things too so..
