Micro SD Card problem.

Hello, I have Android 4.1.2 and I cannot move apps to sd card. My sd card is an 8 gigabyte card, it won't scan media files. SD Card was from an R4i card. I don't want to format the SD Card. Can somebody please help??

From quick Googling, it was said that starting from 4.0, you no longer can move apps to the SD card.

I used to use an app called Force2SD but I don't remember if it works without root.

People still use 4.1.2?
I don't remember if this was in 4.1 or whatever, but it sure is in 5.1.
