idk everyone seems to talk about their feelings so openly, uni just started and we literally already made strong bonds with each other

there's gays in my class too and no one cares and it's such a cool thing and such a fantastic environment tbh

n everyone respects peeps opinions and we never get into fights or whatever???

I don't know about open-minded but I could assume that people who seem to respect others end up doing better than those who don't (to have a chance to join in the first place). Maybe there's something there.

Disrespect doesn't necessarily mean less knowledge or effort into work.
While it might be obvious, it should be noted that colleges and universities wouldn't normally tolerate any kind of bullying and they're usually more serious/strict about that than lower educations (and likely handled the 'adult' way).

Colleges and Universities would typically accept what you're into as long as it doesn't harm others. After all, the main reasons for such places is education and social interaction (where appropriate).

When it comes to colleges or universities, they're such a huge step from all corners.
You would want to find those who fall into your interest, especially if you don't want to end up being potentially miserable for the rest of your life (okay maybe it doesn't have to be from an educational environment but it could be a little harder outside depending on what you're like). This would be a good chance of obtaining a link with others as there's many personalities who are around your age (mentioning age for when it comes to relationships, probably don't need to worry about it at all in your case).

Opinions are just one of the ways of getting to know others. Heck, if you like their opinions then maybe you could end up having them as a friend (or partner) after a while.

I mainly just go to my classes and then I just go home to do my assignments. I honestly prefer maintaining myself and doing what I have to in order to achieve success instead of worrying about others.

I do help others out in my classes and I do discuss stuff with other people, but I prefer having independence from others. I just want to learn, do what's required, and once I'm done with college, get a job applicable to my degree and interests.

I also guess I missed all the drama. I'm only just piecing together everything now.
