When i 1st started going on da internet, ppl used txt talk to the point where tons of 4 and 5 letter wordz were made into just two letter wordz and the letter z randomly replaced s. I no some of u remember dis bcuz it was wat da beginning of 3DSPlaza looked liek. Sum ppl used txt talk and had their own little weird community of ppl dat didn't care about how bad their grammar was. I was one of those ppl.



I guess the point of this thread is that I'm wondering if it makes anyone else nostalgic. Sometimes I wish I could go back to that time where random humour thrived and everyone was chill. There were no pretentious, cynical, negative people or even guys who constantly talked about politics in the news. The only exception were the emo kids, and they weren't so damn loud and could act normally if they were around their friends.


I feel like I had a lot more real friends here around that time. In the era of optimism, cute emoticons, quirkyness and randomness, friends were not only easy to come by, but extremely fun and stimulating conversation was rampant. It was just a bunch of people being silly. And we were all OK with that. We were very accepting of each other's weirdness, even when it sometimes devolved into incoherent nonsense. We all talked about our feelings constantly too. Our weird little community had ties that couldn't be broken with whatever the sharpest object on the planet is. The bonds were strong enough to escape black holes. You know what I'm saying?


And then I abandoned that life. I started to care about how people saw me, and my own idea of my identity, rather than my true self. I have been lost for such a long time, and when I finally began to find myself again, the world had already disappeared. Everyone who was a part of it changed.


Yes, they did grow up, become more intelligent, etc. Still, is it wrong to want to go back? Are any of my old friends really as happy as they were back then?


If for whatever reason a bunch of young young children found this website and recreated that weird little community that existed on this website before, I would gladly be a participant. Or I would observe.

When I was younger I used to do more of a "cute" text talk. "ohai dere lulz :3 how r chu?"

Equally as annoying, and I never capitalized anything...I'd like to thank the people I looked up to for using proper spelling and punctuation, because I inevitably aspired to be like them.

Yeah sadly 3dsplaza is dead rn but hey maybe it will get more popular or even a newer and better website will be made. Also people speaking like that died in 2013 and I miss those times and the days with out SJW wars online and talking about politics.
