I didn't intend to target Republicans specifically, I don't understand politics enough to have an opinion on the matter. The real point of the thread was just to bring more awareness to taking steps to stay anonymous.

Unfortunately, trying to stay anonymous online is pretty much a moot point as of now. Most people voluntarily put their entire personal lives out on sites like twitter and Facebook, and companies like Windows and Google are taking steps to spy and track those who don't post everything on the internet.
