There once was a professor,
he was no christian,
he had no god.
He hated christians.

One day he says, "class?"
and they answer, "yes?"
and he says, "Does god exsist?"
everyone was silent.

They knew he didn't believe in god.
They knew he was no christian.
But one brave believer stood up, and this is what he said.

"Yes, profeser,yes! He does exist!"
The profeser asked, "Did god create everything?"
The boy answered, "Yes, of course!"

"Then god must have created evil,"

With that the boy sat down...
his beliefs discouraged,
when another stood up,
and dared challenge the professer.

"Sir," asked the boy, "Does cold exist?"
The other boys snickered...
What a foolish question!
"Of course, haven't YOU ever felt cold?" the professer asked.

"You are wrong, sir." said the boy.
his voice was bold,
but not threatning,
firm, yet gentle.

"Cold, sir, is simply the word we use to describe an absence of heat."
said the boy.
and the laughing stopped.
and the professer stopped.

The boy said,
with new confidence,
"sir, does darkness exist?"
and fought back a smile...

"Of course, you fool!"
said the professer,
"havent you ever been in darkness?"
his voice was quavering.

"Wrong again sir."
said the boy.
"Darkness is simply the word for an absence of light, we can measure the light, but not the dark."
The kids were silent.

The professer said,
"sit down..."
but the boy said quickly,
so as the professer couldnt finish.

"Sir, doesvEvil exsist?"
the boy said.
the tension was thick.
the professors patiance was thin.

"Yes, as I said before-"
the professor started,
but was interupted bybthe boy,
who said,

"No, sir, Evil is the word we use to describe the absence of a God in ones life,"
said the boy,
and the children were astonished,
and the professor was baffled.

"Like the cold that comes with no heat,
or the darkness without light,
Evil comes where god is not present."

This time,
The professor sat.
